Job Description

At The Curator, we blend artisanal craftsmanship, sustainability, and modern lifestyle branding to create exceptional coffee and community experiences. We’re seeking a driven and dynamic Sales & Marketing Coordinator to lead the charge in growing retail and wholesale coffee sales, crafting strategic digital marketing campaigns, and curating engaging events.

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, ideas, and leadership to our team—someone ready to take initiative, drive direction, and create opportunities where gaps exist. This role is vital to achieving our ambitious sales goals and shaping the future of The Curator as a leader in the specialty coffee and lifestyle market.

This role requires occasional evening and weekend work, particularly for events and client-facing activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) to drive retail coffee sales and grow wholesale partnerships.

  • Implement strategic social media plans to amplify brand visibility and engagement across key platforms.

  • Analyse performance metrics from campaigns and CRM systems, using insights to optimise strategies and meet KPIs.

  • Create and oversee email marketing campaigns, leveraging CRM tools for personalised and effective communication.

  • Take the lead in identifying and securing new wholesale and retail opportunities, proactively building relationships with potential partners.

  • Utilise CRM systems to manage client relationships, track sales pipelines, and streamline communication.

  • Serve as the primary contact for sales inquiries, delivering professional and responsive service to both new and existing clients.

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with The Curator’s goals and brand values.

  • Plan and execute impactful events, including coffee tastings, trade shows, and pop-ups, to showcase The Curator’s offerings and generate sales leads.

  • Collaborate with local businesses and creatives to develop unique event experiences that reflect The Curator’s ethos.

  • Be available for evening and weekend work to oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in sales, digital marketing, and event coordination.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems for client management and sales tracking.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive approach to building relationships.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and improve campaign and sales performance.

  • Highly organised, capable of balancing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enthusiastic and energetic, with the ability to lead, inspire, and create momentum within the team.

  • Passion for sustainability, artisanal craftsmanship, and community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Background in the coffee, food, or lifestyle industries.

  2. Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.

  3. Experience with email marketing tools and strategies.
