Coop Tinamit

The Tinamit Tolimán agricultural cooperative was founded in 2016 by Kaqchikel growers in San Lucas Tolimán, on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Formally established as a cooperative in 2018, Tinamit now has 26 members working across high-altitude farms. Alongside washed coffees, they are developing quality natural and honey lots. This coffee is hand-harvested at full ripeness, floated to remove defects, and dried first on patios for 5–6 days before finishing slowly on raised beds under shade. Attention to detail at every stage has produced a natural process coffee with clarity, sweetness, and depth.
