1940s Style Pants (Canvas - Bespoke)
This is a wide leg pant in the style of the US military dress pant but made in selvage edge canvas OR denim. We have gone straight to the archive and taken a series of patterns from pants as early as 1913, right up to the early 1950s and there was little change. This canvas pant follows a 1913 Varsity Rowing Club style. These are a made in London in workshops that supply Savile Row with their trousers (it’s the jackets they make by hand in that famous London street and often not the pants). The calico pockets, hand sewn button holes and superb linings all show the level we are talking about. Even if you find the (impossible to find) fabric and go to your local tailor you’ll never get them like this.
Sizes – made to order (we need waist and inside leg).
£250 + p&p (UK £8. Europe £11. USA and Japan £18).
